People of scripture and idol worshipers were on their ways until the clear proof
- Those who had disbelieved from a people of the scripture and the idol worshipers were not to be abandoned until there comes to them the clear proof (98:1). A messenger from God recites purified pages (98:2). In them there are right ordinances (98:3).
Note: The people of scripture and the idol worshipers were on their ways until the clear proof had come to them and a messenger has recited the purified pages wherein there are right ordinances.
God’s commandment for the people of scripture
- And those who have been given the scripture had not divided except after what has come to them the clear proof (98:4). And they have not been commanded except to worship God being sincere to Him in the religion of Monotheism, and to establish the salat prayer and to give the zakah. And that is the perfect religion (98:5).
Note: The Jews and the Christians were commanded to accept the truth when it had come to them with the clear proof and to worship God being sincere to Him in the religion of Monotheism as well as to establish the salat prayer and to give the zakah, which was a perfect religion for them.
The consequence of the disbelievers and the idol worshipers is Hell
- Indeed, those who have disbelieved from a people of the scripture and the idol worshipers will be in a Fire of Hell being dwellers in it forever. Those – they are the worst creatures (98:6).
Note: The compensation for the disbelievers is Hell and they are the worst creatures.
The consequence of the righteous believers is gardens of Eden
- Indeed, those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, those – they are the best creatures (98:7). Their reward is with their Lord is gardens of Eden flowing the rivers of their underneath as dwellers therein forever. God has pleased with them and they have pleased with Him. That is for whoever has feared their Lord (98:8).
Note: The compensation for the righteous believers with their Lord is gardens of Eden, and they are the best creatures.
Surah al-Bayyinah (The Clear Proof) is a short surah consisting of 8 verses dealing with the perfect religion being the religion of Monotheism to worship God being sincere to Him and to establish the salat prayer and to give the zakah. Thus, after the clear proof who are the disbelievers from the people of scripture and the idol worshipers being the worst creatures will be in Hell, while the righteous believers being the best creatures will be in gardens of Eden.
