Quran has been given to Muhammad to serve as a warner

Introduction

God teaches us in the Quran that the sending down of the Quran took place in 2 different methods: (1) the Quran all at once was placed into the prophet’s soul on the 27th Ramadan in 13 BH (609 AD), the night, the soul NOT the person was taken to the ultimate point (sid’rati al-muntahaa) and (2) the Holy Spirit (Gabriel) gradually brought it down to put it into prophet’s memory (heart). Hence, there were 2 intermediaries between source (God) and target (people) to deliver the Quran to its ultimate users.

Gabriel brought down Quran

The holy and honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down piece by piece from God and passed it to the Prophet while the honest Prophet read it to the people, which took over a period of about 23 years from 610 to 632 to complete the delivery of the whole Quran. Since both the Gabriel and the Prophet are directly connected to read it to the people and their connection are reflected in the following verses of the Quran to understand this event:

[2:97] Say, “Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel, then you know that he has brought it (Quran) down into your heart, in accordance with God’s will, confirming what was before it, and a guidance and good news for the believers (lil’mu’mineena).”

[16:2] He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) of His commands, to whomever He chooses from among His servants that you shall warn that there is no other god beside Me. Therefore, you shall reverence Me.
[16:102] Say: “The Holy Spirit (Gabriel) has brought it (Quran) down from your Lord with truth to strengthen those who believe, and as a guidance and good news for the submitters (lil’mus’limeena).”
[17:85] And they ask you (Muhammad) about the Spirit (Gabriel). Say, “The Spirit (Gabriel) comes by the command of my Lord, and the knowledge you are given is but very little.”

[22:52] And we did not send of your (Muhammad) ahead a messenger nor a prophet, except when he recited, the Satan had cast in his recitation. Then God removes what the Satan cast. Thus, God establishes His revelations, and God is Knower, Wise.

[26:192] And indeed, it (Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the universe.
[26:193] The Honest Spirit (Gabriel) came down with it (Quran).
[26:194] Into your (Muhammad) heart that you may be one of the warners.
[26:195] In a clear Arabic tongue.
[26:196] And it (Quran) is certainly, mentioned in the scriptures of the previous people.

[17:106] And a Quran that we have divided into parts that you may read it to the people over a period of time; and we have sent it down gradually.
[25:32] And said those who disbelieved, “Why has not been revealed the Quran to him all at once?” Thus, that we may strengthen your heart with it, and we have recited it gradual recitation.
[76:23] Indeed, we have revealed to you (Muhammad) the Quran gradually.

Mathematical confirmation

The complete delivery of the Quran took 23 years mediated by the Gabriel, which has a mathematical confirmation. There are 13 verses across 7 suras in the set in connection with the mediation of the Gabriel to pass the pieces of the Quran that the prophet read to the people. If the relevant sura and verse numbers are added, the total is 1653 which is a multiple of 19 => 1653 = 19x87. However, the table below depicts the detail of the mathematical confirmation:

This mathematical interpretation confirms that:

  • The Gabriel was an integral part of the process of revealing the Quran required for passing it piece by piece to the prophet so as to read it to the people.
  • A perfect Arabic Quran, a revelation from the Lord of the universe was delivered as a guidance and bearer of good news for the submitters and the believers.
  • A pure Quran was delivered eliminating the two verses recited by the prophet being inspired by the Satan after the verses, 19 & 20 of the sura 53 (Al-Najm) with the possibility of its reference in the verse 52 of sura 22 (Al-Hajj).

Here is the short story in this connection that came down to us is shortly after reciting those two verses by the prophet by mistake, the Gabriel (Jibra’il) descended and informed him: I had not brought for you those two sentences! These were of the inspirations of the Satan!

The verse 52 of sura 22 (Al-Hajj)
[22:52] And we did not send of your (Muhammad) ahead a messenger nor a prophet, except when he recited, the Satan had cast in his recitation. Then God removes what the Satan cast. Thus, God establishes His revelations, and God is Knower, Wise.

What is in the Quran in this context in the verses, from 19 to 23 of the sura 53
[53:19] Have you then considered Allat and Al-Uzza;
[53:20] and Manat, the third, the last one?
[53:21] Do you have sons, while He has these as daughters?
[53:22] What a disgraceful distribution!
[53:23] These are but names that you made up, you and your forefathers. God never authorized such a blasphemy. They follow conjecture, and personal desire, when the true guidance has come to them herein from their Lord.

Here is the full text that could be in the verses, 21 and 22 of the sura 53 if the Gabriel would not discard them:
“These are beautiful, high-ranking birds;
and their intercession is anticipated.”

Role of Prophet as a warner

All messengers (both prophets and messengers) are bearers of good news and warners (4:165, 18:56). The Quran is given to prophet Muhammad, which is a guidance, reminder, healing and mercy for a people who believe. It has all proofs and warnings that help people not to be disbelievers (10:101):

[4:165] Messengers are bearers of good news and warners, so there shall be no excuse of the people with God after the messengers. God is Almighty, Most Wise.
[18:56] We did not send the messengers except as bearers of good news as well as warners. But those who disbelieve argue with falsehood to deny the truth with it, and they mock My revelations and warnings.
[10:101] Say: “Look at what is in the heavens and the earth.” But the signs and warnings will not be of service to a people who do not believe.

However, the key role that the prophet was to play as a warner being a witness as well as a bearer of good news, is covered in the following verses of the Quran:

[2:119] We have sent you (Muhammad) with the truth (Quran) as a bearer of good news, (basheeran) and a warner (nadheeran), and you will not be asked about a people of the blazing Fire.
[5:19] O people of the scripture, our messenger has come to you to clarify after an (long) interval of having no messengers lest you say: “No bearer of good news or warner has come to us.” Indeed, a bearer of good news and a warner has come to you; and God is powerful over all things.
[7:184] Why do they not reflect? There is no madness in their companion (Muhammad); he is but a clear warner.
[7:188] Say: “I (Muhammad) do not possess any power for myself to benefit or harm, except what God wills. And if I could know the unseen, then I would have increased my prosperity, and no harm would have touched me. I am but a warner and a bearer of good news to a people who believe.”
[11:2] That you shall not worship other than God. I am to you from Him a warner and a bearer of good news.
[11:12] So perhaps you may wish to ignore some of what has been inspired to you, and you are depressed by it, because they say: “If only a treasure was sent down with him, or an angel had come with him!” You are but a warner, and God has control over all things.
[13:7] And those who have disbelieved say: “Why not a miracle has been sent down to him from his Lord?” You are but a warner, and there has been a guide for every community.
[15:89] And say: “I am the manifest warner.”
[17:105] And we sent it down with the truth, and with the truth it came down. And we have not sent you except as a bearer of good news and a warner.
[22:49] Say, “O people, I am just a warner to you.”
[25:1] Blessed is the One who sent down the statute book to His servant that he may be a warner to the world.
[25:51] And if we wished, we would have raised a warner from every town.
[25:56] And we have not sent you except as a bearer of good news and a warner.
[26:115] “I am but a clear warner.”
[27:92] And that I recite the Quran. Whoever is guided is guided for himself, and whoever goes astray, then say, “I am one of the warners.”
[29:50] And they say: “Why not are the miracles sent down to him from his Lord?” Say: “The miracles are only with God, and I am but a clear warner.”
[32:3] Or do they say: “He fabricated it?” No, it is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people who have not received a warner before you, so that they may be guided.
[33:45] O prophet! Surely, we have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good news, and a warner.
[34:28] And we have not sent you except as a bearer of good news and a warner to all the people; but most people do not know.
[34:34] And We did not send a warner to any town except its leaders said: “We are disbelievers in what you have been sent with.”
[34:44] We had not given them any scriptures to study, nor did we send to them any warner before you (qab’laka).
[34:46] Say: “I (Muhammad) ask you for one thing that you stand for God, in pairs and as individuals, then reflect. There is no madness in your friend (bisahibikum), he is but a warner to you before a severe retribution.”
[35:23] You (Muhammad) are but a warner.
[35:24] We have sent you (Muhammad) with the truth, a bearer of good news, and a warner. There is not a nation but a warner had come to it.
[38:4] They wondered that a warner has come to them, from among them. The disbelievers said, “This (hadha) is a magician, a liar.”
[38:65] Say: “I (Muhammad) am but a warner; and there is no other god beside God, the One, the Supreme.”
[38:70] “I (Muhammad) am inspired that I am just a warner.”
[41:4] A bearer of good news and a warner while most of them turn away, and they do not listen.
[46:9] Say: “I (Muhammad) am not different from the (other) messengers, and I do not know what will be done with me nor with you. I do not follow except what is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner”
[48:8] Indeed, We have sent you (Muhammad) a witness, a bearer of good news, and a warner.
[50:2] They wonder that a warner has come to them from among them and the disbelievers say, “This is something strange!”
[51:50] You shall escape to God. I (Muhammad) am a clear warner to you from Him.
[51:51] And do not set up any other god besides God. I (Muhammad) am a clear warner to you from Him.
[67:26] Say, “The knowledge is only with God, and I (Muhammad) am only a clear warner.”
[71:2] He (Muhammad) said, “O my people, I am a clear warner to you.”
[79:45] You (Muhammad) are only a warner to whoever fears it.

Mathematical confirmation

The role of prophet as a warner stated in 36 verses across 25 suras has a mathematical confirmation as well. If the relevant sura and verse numbers are added, the total is 2546 which is a multiple of 19 => 2546 = 19×134. However, the table below depicts the detail of the mathematical confirmation:

img54

This mathematical confirmation comes from a set of verses directly connected to the role of the prophet as a warner while we can also confirm the following:

  • The role of the prophet as a bearer of good news and a warner has been highlighted in the message given to him so that the people he has been sent for can understand their relation with him during his lifetime as well as when he is no more among them.
  • It makes explicit for those who have accepted Muhammad as the prophet is to follow the message given to him, i.e., the Quran but not his hadiths (sayings) or sunnah (deeds) as claimed and practiced by many Muslims to make them idol worshippers.
  • There are references in the Rashad Khalifa’s English Translations of the Quran paraphrasing his name in the parentheses in the verses, 25:56, 34:28 & 46 indicating mathematical coding of his name as a messenger of covenant based on the resultant of the gematrical value of his name by adding with the relevant sura and verse numbers may cause some confusion among the readers but the references of the prophet to those verses are not excluded.

Conclusion

It is always our efforts to focus on the Quran to stay in the straight path while awareness of some historical events may help us to have a clear understanding of the related matters. The historicity of (1) the momentary acceptance of insertion of the two gharanic (satanic) verses by the prophet but immediately withdrawn with the interference of Gabriel, (2) the insertion of two verses in sura 9 during the rewriting of the Quran after 19 years of the death of prophet Muhammad, (3) the root cause and the victory of the distorters of the Quran at the battle of Karbala, and (4) the burning of Muhammad’s own hand written Quran lying with Hafsa are well documented in the early Islamic sources but the present days Islamic leaders rarely tell Muslims or the general public about them fearing that the divine dignity of the Quran will be impacted. They also think that their recognition of these events will provide more room for the attackers of the Quran as well as the critics of Islam but they overlooked many important lessons that the true Muslims could learn from these occurrences. The most important lesson that the Muslims could learn from these two insertion occurrences of the two verses that the Satan and those who possess satanic attributes would insert their words amongst the words of God in order to mislead the people driving to idolatry. In the first occurrence, the idols were the things which were very popular among the then polytheist Arabs while in the second occurrence the idol was the person, the prophet. Hence, the Satan and its tribes are a great enemy of humans, who has always been and always around us but his presence is behind the scene, and he can influence any of us, and our awareness about him can only help us to protect us from him to stay in the straight path as defined by God to avoid idol worshiping.

What we find in the Quran that the holy and honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down piece by piece and the honest prophet delivered it to the people. It has been learned that how crucial was the role of the Gabriel to deliver the pure Quran, which has been mathematically confirmed, being the Arabic its language. God knows that the Quran will be translated into different languages by different translators or will be interpreted by different interpreters to derive the message from it with minor variations but the message in the Arabic Quran will always remain unchanged being authentic one, which is an opportunity for all of us to verify the message when we have any confusion whether it is minor or major. However, those who believe in the Gabriel and the prophet should make their all efforts to know the Quran and to follow its teachings and laws to lead a righteous life.

God has not only sent His messenger but He also has precisely defined the role of His messenger in the message sent with him to understand his duty. The messenger is no more than a human being nor one messenger is different from other messengers while the messenger has to accomplish the God given mission in his lifetime. However, it is unfortunate that our God- given religion has been corrupted with many man-made innovations and traditions including our shahadah just to idolize the prophet which started even after 19 years of his death through inserting of the two false verses in the Quran for praising him. In addition, the volumes and volumes of Hadith books have been written about 200 years after his death incorporating religious rules and regulations literally covering every aspect of our life while a group of people being knowledgeable of such innovations come forward with their teachings to preach Islam among the Muslim societies all over the world abandoning the Quran. It seems to be an operation that the Satan has hired many learned people amongst us to drive his agenda to make most of us losers in the Hereafter. Thus, true Islam has been hijacked, which can only be rescued by establishing it on the words of God and the Quran’s built-in mathematical system is a blessing for us to do that. The mathematical confirmation of the role of the prophet (messenger) as a warner being a bearer of good news as well assures what we need to follow should not be a question or concern for the true believers of God that it is the Quran, the words of God, which is complete (6:115), perfect (11:1) and fully detailed (7:52).

The mathematical confirmation of the literary instructions strengthens our hearts leaving no room for any confusion upon reviewing and reflecting on a given set of verses. Now we have the mathematical confirmations of the following: (1) the entire Quran was revealed on the night of 27th Ramadan (2:185, 97:1-5) in 13 BH (610 AD) while God has termed the night to be the Night of Power, is Laylatul Qadr in Arabic (97:1), which is better than a thousand months (97:2), (2) the process of revealing the entire Quran to Muhammad was a night-long event (44:3, 97:5) involving the angels and the Gabriel (97:5), (3) the Gabriel brought down the Quran piece by piece to release it from prophet’s soul into his heart as well as to read the Quran to the people over a period of time confirming the authenticity of the revealed Quran and (4) the sole duty of the prophet was to serve as a bearer of good news and a warner.

There are total 74 verses that have participated in the mathematical confirmation of the four events mentioned above to confirm the following to be innovations and man-made: (1) the annual observance of Laylatul Qadr through extra salat prayer, (2) staying last ten days in the mosque in the month of Ramadan expecting not to miss the awesome night, but there is nothing wrong if anyone plans to stay in the mosque during the month of Ramadan at any number of days for increased remembrance of God without expecting to experience the Night of Power while it is required for him to abstain from sexual relation during his/her staying, (3) observing Tarawih prayer in the month of Ramadan, (4) Edul-Fitr prayer on the first day of Shaw’wal, (5) Zakatul Fitr and (6) accepting so called prophet’s sayings or deeds as religious (Islamic) teachings and laws. It is noted that. God is merciful on us and has given us knowledge to isolate only 74 verses out of 6234 numbered verses of the Quran to review and reflect on a particular set of verses for avoidance of such innovations. The truth is simple to understand and easy to follow and verifiable but God has made requirement for us to be straightforward (2:189) to see that. However, whether we want to be winners or losers, of course, that depends on our own choices, beliefs and practices.
Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
Tafazzal (12/23/2016).
