The age of fatwa ended 50 years ago upon the fulfillment of a promise of God with the prophets to send a messenger after the prophets had delivered their scripture (3:81 and 33:7), while He has let us know whoever has been given the last scripture (33:40). But many of us do not pay attention to it or ignore it with their intention to stay in their misguidance being deprived of appropriate beliefs and perfect practices of religion according to the Word of God, even there is a severe warning about the terrible punishment in the Hereafter for the disbelievers of a messenger of the covenant and the message being it a reminder for the people of the world. Here is a review of a few verses of the Quran – a confirming and the most authentic scripture among the existing scripture in the world may help those who are certain about their meeting with their Lord knowing and paying attention to the truth from God about a messenger of the covenant and the message given to him if they do not want to be in a worse abode in the Hereafter, and the verses are so straightforward that anyone can save him from the terrible punishment in the Hereafter except for those who have hearts but they cannot understand, have eyes but they cannot see and have ears but they cannot hear (7:179):
Punishment in the Hereafter for denying a messenger of the covenant
- Verses from surah 3: Aal `Imraan (The Family of `Imraan)
[3:81] And when God had taken a covenant of the prophets that whatever I have given you (prophets) from a scripture and wisdom, then a messenger has come to you confirming that which is with yourselves. That you must believe in him and that you must support him. He said: “Have you affirmed and taken My covenant on that?” They said: “We have affirmed.” He said: “So, you shall bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.”
Note: Here is an affirmation that every prophet has been given scripture from Mother Scripture with God (43:4) as well as a confirmation of a major covenant of God with the prophets to send a messenger upon delivery of all scripture given to them, which makes explicit that this covenant has been placed in every scripture immediately followed by the definition of prophet given by God in 3:80 so that we do not confuse between prophet and messenger.
[3:82] So, whoever has turned away after that, then those – they are the disobedient.
[3:83] Do they then seek other than God’s religion while to Him has submitted whatever is in the heavens and the earth in willingness and unwillingness, and to Him they will be returned?
Note: Those who have turned away from the messenger are disobedient seeking for other than Submission (Islam in Arabic).
[3:84] Say, “We have believed in God, and what has been sent down to us, and what has been sent down to Abraham, and Ismail, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and what has been given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We do not make distinction between anyone of them, and we are submitters to Him.”
[3:85] And whoever seeks other than Submission as religion, will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter, he will be with the losers.
Note: The people who have believed in all the prophets and what has been sent down to them making no distinction between any of them and pursued a religion of Submission will not turn away from the covenant and the messenger.
[3:86] How would God guide a people who have disbelieved after their faith and have witnessed that the messenger is truth, and has come to them the clear proofs? And God does not guide the people who are the wrongdoers.
[3:87] Those – their recompense is that on them a curse of God, and the angels, and all of the people.
[3:88] They will be dwellers in it (Hell). The punishment for them will neither be lightened, nor will they be reprieved.
[3:89] Except for those who have repented after that and have reformed. Then indeed, God is Forgiving, Merciful.
[3:90] Indeed, those who have disbelieved after their faith, then they have increased disbelief, their repentance will not be accepted; and those – they are the strayers.
[3:91] Indeed, those who have disbelieved, and have died while they are disbelievers, then the earth full of gold will not be accepted from anyone of them, even if he had offered ransom with it. Those – for them there is a painful punishment and not for them there are any helpers.
Note: God would not guide a people who have disbelieved in the messenger when they have witnessed that the messenger is the truth, and on them is a curse of God, the angels and the believing people to be dwellers in Hell except for those who have repented and reformed but those who have died as disbelievers there is a painful punishment for them, and no ransom will be accepted from them even if it would be the earth full of gold and there is no helper for them to save them from a punishment.
- Verses from surah 33: al-Ahzaab (The Parties)
[33:7] And when we had taken from the prophets their covenant, and from you (Muhammad), and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus, son of Mary. And we had taken from them a solemn covenant.
Note: Here is a reference to the covenant from the prophets about sending a messenger upon delivering all the scripture given to them in (3:81) mentioning certain prophets by name who are Muhammad (not by name but by mentioning singular 2nd person pronoun), Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus as example, and a confirmation that the covenant is placed in the Quran sent down to Muhammad. There are 3163 verses between 3:81 and 33:7 [119 + 176 + 120 + 165 + 206 + 75 + 127 + 109 + 123 + 111 + 43 + 52 + 99 + 128 + 111 + 110 + 98 + 135 + 112 + 78 + 118 + 64 + 77 + 227 + 93 + 88 + 69 + 60 + 34 + 30 + 6], and 29 surahs between surah 3 and surah 33 wherein the covenant is placed, and if the total # of the verses, which is 3163 and the total # of surahs, which is 29 are added, the sum is 3163 + 29 = 3192, is a multiple of 19 => 3192 (19X168) being it a verifiable proof, which establishes a relationship between 3:81 and 33:7 not to have any doubt about the covenant.
[33:8] That He will ask the truthful about their truthfulness, and He has prepared a painful punishment for the disbelievers.
Note The covenant is the truth from God and He will ask about the truth of the truthfulness and will punish a painful punishment for the disbelievers in the Hereafter.
- Verses from surah 74: al-Muddaththir (The Hidden one)
[74:38] Every soul is in pledge for what it has earned.
[74:39] Except for companions of the right.
[74:40] In Heavens, they will ask each other.
[74: 41] About the guilty.
[74:42] What has brought you into Saqar?
Note: On a day of the Judgment every group will know its destination whether it is entering Heaven or Hell followed by the judgment, while we know from the Quran that there will be 4 groups standing before God from the believers and the disbelievers on that day and those who are close to God will enter the Higher Heaven and those who are on His right will enter the Lower Heaven along with those who are far from God, but those who are on His left will be forced to enter the Hell. .
Punishment in the world for denying a messenger of the covenant
- Verses from surah 44: al-Dukhaan (The Smoke)
[44:10] So you shall watch for a day the sky will bring of a profound smoke,
[44:11] enveloping the people; this will be a painful punishment.
[44:12] “Our Lord, remove the punishment from us; indeed, we will be believers.”
[44:13] How was for them the reminder (Quran’s mathematical coding), and certainly, there had come to them a clarifying messenger (God’s messenger of the covenant)?
[44:14] Then, they had turned away from him and said, “An educated, a mad!”
[44:15] Indeed, we are relievers of the punishment for a while; indeed, you are returning.
[44:16] A day we will strike the greatest strike; indeed, we are avengers.
Note: The punishment to come is a profound smoke in the sky that will cover the people is not literal but a metaphor, which we can understand better now from a disaster of the world-wide outbreak of COVID-19 that many of us have witnessed is a circumstantial evidence of the future event to be taken place down the generations for denying the messenger. Here is a clear reference to a messenger of the covenant being unique the description of a messenger as well as the reminder, the mathematical coding of Quran in the mathematical language as mentioned in 74:30 “over it is nineteen.” The punishment has seized the people for denying a reminder as well as the messenger, is relieved as the greatest strike, the end of the world is not too far from now is predicted to be in 2280.
Mathematical confirmation
The covenant has been described in 2 verses of 2 surahs, while the punishment for denying the messenger and the reminder given to him have been mentioned in 23 verses of 4 surahs including the punishment in the Hereafter as well as in the world, and if the relevant the surah and the verse numbers are added, the sum is a multiple of 19 => 1406 (19X74) as shown in the table below:

Note: This mathematical confirmation is an explicit proof of the truth about a messenger and the reminder given to the messenger from God to have no doubt, while the green highlighted cells in the table indicate the description of the covenant taken from the prophets and the orange highlighted cells indicate the punishment in the world for denying but relieving it as the greatest strike is coming soon.
Conclusion
The covenant has been placed in every scripture given to the prophets including Muhammad that God will send a messenger after delivery of all the scriptures to unveil the code of the Quran by His permission, and those who will reject the messenger are the real wicked when the covenant is fulfilled. The wicked will seek other than God’s religion making distinction between the prophets. while those who accept other than Islam (Submission) as their religion and make distinction between prophets sent with scriptures in different guidance periods will be losers in the Hereafter. God will not guide the wicked people and they have deserved the curse of God, the angels and all the righteous people and will abide forever in Hell wherein their retribution will never be lighted nor will they be reprieved. But God will forgive those who have repented and reformed, while repentance will not be accepted from those who have increased their disbelief and have gone far astray, and those who have disbelieved and die as the disbelievers the earth full of gold will not be accepted as ransom from them. God has warned the people that they will notice a terrible smoke in the sky covering the people as a painful punishment for turning away from the messenger and the message sent with the messenger as they do not take the God given opportunity to do the righteous deeds according to the Word of God accepting the messenger and the reminder given to him.
The covenant has fulfilled long before and we have witnessed a terrible punishment from a disaster of the world-wide outbreak of COVID-19 for denying the messenger and the reminder sent with him, while we know that very few people around the world believe him and accept the message when he has been among the people reminds us the history of a city stated in surah Yaa Seen about only one believer but were sent three messengers to it. Even the messenger delivered the message about 50 years ago but due to misinterpretation and misconception among the traditional Muslim community around the world that Muhammad is the final messenger and the final prophet, is a big impediment for them to accept a messenger and the message sent with him to find the right way to practice a religion of God and to interpret the messages of Quran avoiding paganism beliefs and the personality cult.
God has taken the covenant from the prophets to send a messenger after they had delivered the scripture given to them, and the covenant has been mentioned twice in the Quran. What has been mentioned in 3:81 indicates that the covenant has been placed in every scripture, and what has been mentioned in 33:7 indicates the covenant has been placed in the Quran given to Muhammad. The description of 2 verses, 3:81 and 33:7 about the covenant to send a messenger having a verifiable proof of relationship between them, and the punishment in the world and in the Hereafter for denying the messenger in 23 straightforward verses found in 4 surahs of the Quran supported by the mathematical confirmation along with the circumstantial evidence may strengthen our hearts to believe the fulfillment of the covenant of sending a messenger upon delivering all the scripture and the punishment of the people in the world for turning away from him when the messenger has not been among us, and that it is the truth from God about a messenger to come has left no room to have doubt in our hearts being it His given opportunity for everyone irrespective of his faith to avoid a terrible punishment in the Hereafter, even for those who have repented and have reformed having forgiveness of God, except for those who have died as disbelievers in it that the earth full of gold will not be accepted as ransom from them, nor will there be any helper for them to save them from a punishment.
Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
