There are 147 of instances closely related Arabic words in the Quran in 2 forms: (1) jannat meaning garden and (2) al-jannat meaning Paradise as shown in the table below while we know that an Arabic word may have a range of meanings depending on context, which is a key concept to understand the message coded in the Arabic text of the Quran:

Out of 96 instances of jannat in 93 verses across 55 suras in the Quran, 54 instances in 52 verses across 22 suras are described below:
[2:25] And you shall give good news to those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, that for them there are gardens, flowing the rivers of their underneath (anna lahum jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru). Every time they have been provided therefrom of fruit as provision, they have said: “This is what we have been provided with before.” And they have been given the like of it, and for them there are purified spouses therein, and they will be abiding therein forever.
[2:265] And an example of those who spend their wealth seeking God’s pleasure, and ascertaining from their hearts, is like an example of a garden on a height (ka’mathali jannaatin birabwatin) has fallen a heavy rain on it, so it has yielded double its harvest, even if it does not fall a heavy rain on it then a drizzle does. And God is Seer of what you do.
[2:266] Does any of you wish that it may be for him a garden of date-palms and grapevines (lahu jannatun min nakheelin wa-a`naabin), flowing the rivers of its underneath, for him there is all kinds of fruits in it, and he has reached the old age and have his children are weak, then a tornado has afflicted in it is fire, then it has burnt? Thus that God clarifies the revelations for you that you may think about.
[3:15] Say, “Shall I inform you of better than that: for those who have feared with their Lord, are gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever, and are pure spouses and pleasure from God?” And God is Seer of His servants.
[3:133] And you shall hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and a garden, its width of the heavens and the earth (wa-jannatin `arduhaa al-samaawaatu wal-ardu), has been prepared for the righteous.
[3:136] Those – their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (wa-jannaatun tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever, and has blessed an excellent reward for the workers.
[3:195] Then has responded to them of their Lord: “Indeed, I do not let go waste deed of a doer among you from a male or a female – one of you for another. So, those who have immigrated, and have been driven out from their homes, and have been harmed in My path, and have fought and have been killed; surely, I will remove their evil deeds from them, and surely, I will admit them to gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath – a reward on behalf of God, (wa-la-udkhilannakum jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru thawaaban min `indi allahi) and God, with Him is the best reward.”
[3:198] But those who have feared their Lord, for them, are gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatun tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever, a hospitality on behalf of God. And what is with God is best for the righteous.
[4:13] That is of God’s limits, and whoever obeys God and His messenger, He will admit him to gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath, is abiding therein forever (yudkhilhu jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru khaalideena feehaa abadan). And that is the greatest success.
[4:57] And those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, we will admit them to gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (sanudkhiluhum jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever. For them in them are pure spouses, and we will admit them to a thick shade.
[4:122] And those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, we will admit them to gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath, are abiding therein forever (sanudkhiluhum jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru khaalideena feehaa abadan). It is a promise in truth from God, and whoever is truer than God in statement?
[5:12] And certainly, God has taken a covenant of Children of Israel, and we have raised twelve patriarchs from them. And God said, “Indeed, I am with you, certainly if you have established the Contact Prayer (al-salata), and have given the obligatory charity (al-zakata), and have believed in My messengers and have honored them, and have loaned God a good loan, surely, I will remove your evil deeds from you, and surely, I will admit you to gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (wa-la-udkhilannakum jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru). So, whoever has disbelieved after that from you, then certainly, he has strayed off the right path.”
[5:65] If people of the scripture had believed and had feared (Me), surely, we have removed their evils and have admitted them to gardens of the Bliss (jannaati al-na`iim).
[5:85] So God has rewarded them for what they said, into gardens, flowing the rivers of their underneath, are abiding therein (bimaa qaaluu jannaati tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru khaalideena feehaa). And that is a reward of the good-doers.
[5:119] God said, “This is a day will benefit the truthful for their truthfulness, for them are gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (lahum jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever.” God has pleased them and they have pleased Him. That is the greatest success.
[6:99] And He is the One who has sent down water from the sky, then we have brought forth every kind of vegetation. Then we have brought forth from it green plant, we have brought forth from it grain of thick clustered. And from the date-palm from its spathe of clustered of dates hanging low, and gardens of grapes, and the olives and the pomegranates – similar and dissimilar (wa-jannaatin min a’naabin wal-zaytuuna wal-rumaana mush’tabihan wa-ghayra mutashaabihin). You shall look at its fruit when has matured and its ripening. Indeed, in that there are certainly of signs for a people who believe.
[6:141] And He is the One who has produced gardens (wa-huwa alladhee ansha-a jannaatin), trellised and non-trellised, and the date-palm, and crops of its diverse taste, and the olives, and the pomegranates- similar and dissimilar. You shall eat from their fruits when has matured and shall give its due on a day of its harvest. And you should not be extravagant. Indeed, He does not love the extravagant ones.
[9:21] Their Lord gives them good news of mercy from Him and pleasure and gardens for them – in them there is everlasting bliss (wa-jannaatin lahum feehaa na`iimun muqeemun), are abiding therein forever.
[9:72] God has promised the believing men and the believing women gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath, are abiding therein forever, and blessed dwellings in gardens of Eden (wamasaakina tayyibatan fee jaanaatin `adnin), while a pleasure from God is greater; that, it is the great success.
[9:89] God has prepared for them gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever. That is the greatest success.
[9:100] And those who were the first of the emigrants, and the supporters, and those who followed them with goodness, God has been pleased with them and they have been pleased with Him; and He has prepared for them gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (wa-a`adda lahum jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever. That is the great success.
[10:9] Indeed, those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, their Lord guides them through their belief. There will flow the rivers of their underneath in gardens of the Bliss tajree min tahtihimu al-anhaaru fee jannaati al-na`iim).
[13:4] And in the earth there are adjacent tracks, and gardens of grapes, and crops, and date-palm (wa-jannatun min a`naabin wa-zar`un wa-nakheelun) trees growing from a single root and not from single root are watering with one water, while we prefer some of them over others in the fruit. Indeed, in that there are surely signs for a people who can think about.
[13:23] Gardens of Eden, they will enter them (jannaatin`adnin yadkhuluunahaa), and whoever has been righteous of their parents, their spouses, and their children. The angels will enter to them through every gate.
[14:23] And it has been admitted those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds to gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), abiding therein forever with permission of their Lord; their greeting therein is “Peace.”
[15:45] Indeed, the righteous are in gardens and springs (inna muttaqeena fee jannaatin wa-`uyuunin).
[16:31] Gardens of Eden, they will enter it, flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin `adnin yadkhuluunahaa tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru). For them in it there will be whatever they wish. Thus, God rewards the righteous.
[17:91] “Or you have a garden of date-palm and grapes (aw takuuna laka jannatun min nakheelin wa-`inabin), so you cause to gush forth the springs within them in abundance.”
[18:31] Those – for them there are gardens of Eden, flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin `adnin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru). They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and will wear garments, are green of fine silk and velvet, resting therein on adorned couches. It has been excellent the reward and has been best the resting place.
[18:32] Mention to them the example of two men: we made for one of them two gardens of grapes (ja`alnaa li-ahadihimaa jannatayni min a`naabin), and we surrounded them with date palms, and we placed crops in their between.
[18:33] Each of the two gardens has brought forth its produce (kil’taa al-jannatayni aatat ukulahaa), and does not go anything wrong of it, and we have caused to gush forth a river within them.
[18:35] And he entered his garden while he was unjust to himself (wa-dakhala jannatahu wa-huwa zaalimun li’nafsihi), “I do not think that this will ever perish.
[18:39] And why not when you entered your garden said (wa-lawlaa idh dakhalta jannataka qulta), “What God has willed (maa shaa-a allah). No power (with anyone) except with God (laa-quwwata illaa billahi).” If you see me lesser than you in wealth and children.
[18:40] So it has been my Lord that He may grant me better than your garden (yu’tiyani khayran min jannataka). He may send upon it a violent storm from the sky that it may become an unproductive land.
[18:107] Indeed, those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, they have made for them gardens of Paradise as hospitality (jannaatu al-fir’dawsi nuzulan).
[19:61] Gardens of Eden, which the Gracious has promised to His servants in the unseen (jannaati `adnin allatee wa`ada al-rahmanu `ibaadahu bil-ghaybi). Indeed, it has been His promise to be done.
[20:76] Gardens of Eden, flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaati `adnin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), are abiding therein forever. And that is reward for whoever has purified (himself).
[22:14] Indeed, God will admit those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds to gardens, flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru). Indeed, God does whatever He intends.
[22:23] Indeed, God will admit those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds to gardens, flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru). They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be of silk.
[22:56] The sovereignty on that day belongs to God, He will judge between themselves. So those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, will be in gardens of the Bliss (fee jannaati al-na`iim).
[23:19] Then we have produced for you gardens of date palms and grapevines (fa-anshanaa lakum bihi jannaatin min nakheelin wa-a`naabin);there are abundant fruits in them for you and you eat from them.
[25:8] Or has been delivered to him a treasure or is for him a garden, he may eat from it (aw takuunu lahum jannatun yakulu minhaa)? And said the wrongdoers, “You do not follow but a bewitched man.”
[25:10] Blessed is the One who, if He had willed, He made for you better than that– gardens, flowing the rivers of their underneath (jannaatin tajree min tahtihaa al-anhaaru), and He may make for you palaces.
[25:15] Say, “Is that better or a garden of Eternity, which has been promised to the righteous (jannatu al-khuldi allatee wu`ida al-muttaquuna)? It has been for them a reward and destination.”
[26:57] So, we deprived them from gardens and springs (fa-akhrajnaahum min jannaatin wa-`uyuunin).
[26:85] “And make me of inheritors of garden of the Bliss (jannati al-na`iim).”
[26:134] “And gardens and springs (wa-jannaatin wa-`uyuunin).”
[26:147] “In gardens and springs (fee jannaatin wa-`uyuunin).”
[31:8] Indeed, those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, for them, are gardens of the Bliss (lahum jannaati al-na`iim).
[32:19] As for those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, then for them, are gardens of the Refuge (fa-lahum jannaatu al-mawaa) as hospitality for what they have done to achieve (nuzulan bimaa kaanuu ya’maluuna).
[34:15] Certainly, it has been for Sheba in their dwelling place a sign: two gardens on the right and the left (jannataani `an yameenin wa-shimaatin). Eat from your Lord’s provisions and be grateful to Him – a good land and a Lord of forgiving.
[34:16] As they turned away, so we sent upon them a flood of the disaster and we changed them of their two gardens into two gardens (wa-baddalnaahum bijannataynihum jannatayni) producing bitter fruits, thorny shrubs, and a few lote trees.
In brief, gardens are visible to us to be beneficial as well as a best thing for us while God has promised gardens allegorically describing them as His mercy and reward in the Hereafter for the righteous and the good-doers, and of their righteous parents, spouses, and children. He has given general description of gardens, flowing the rivers of their underneath, a place of abiding therein forever. The dwellers will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and will wear clothes of green silk and velvet, resting therein on adorned couches. For them, there are pure spouses and pleasure from God, and there is greeting for them therein “Peace.” They have everlasting bliss and there is whatever they wish therein while they will be in a thick shade. He has also given specific description of gardens mentioning them as gardens of the Bliss, gardens of Eden, Gardens of Paradise, gardens of the Refuge and a garden of Eternity. are also cited as examples on our earthly life as tests to expose the wicked that we make efforts to become righteous to achieve gardens with God in the Hereafter as mercy and reward from Him a place of living with the everlasting bliss.
