[35:14] If you call them, they cannot hear your call (if tad’`uuhum laa-yas’ma`uu du`aa-akum). Even if they had heard you, they would not have responded to you. And on a day of the Resurrection, they will deny of your association. And none can inform you like a Cognizant.

Say, “Enjoy with your disbelief for a while; indeed, you are with companions of the Fire.”

[39:38] And that if you (prophet) had asked them who created the heavens and the earth? That they will surely say, “God.” Say, “Have you then seen whom you call other than God (a-fa-ra-aytum maa tad’`uuna min duuni allahi)? It has been difficult on the idol worshipers what you (prophet) call them to it (kabura `alaa al-mush’rikeena maa tad’`uuhum ilayhi). God chooses to Himself whomever He wills and He guides to Himself whoever turns (to Him).

[42:15] As for that then you (prophet) shall invite (fa-li’dhaalika fa-ud’`u) and shall be straight as that you have been commanded, and do not follow their desires and say, “I have believed in what God has sent down from a scripture and I have been commanded to do justice between yourselves. [46:5] And who is far astray than whoever calls other than God (wa-man adallu mimman min duuni allahi), who will not respond to him until a Day of the Resurrection, and they will be unaware from their calls.

[61:7] And who is more unjust than whoever has invented the lie about God, while he is invited to the Submission (wa-huwa yud’`aa ilaa al-islaami)? And God does not guide the people of the wrongdoers.

[68:43] They are humbled, humiliation will cover them of their eyes. And certainly, they had been called to the prostration (wa-qad kaanuu yud’`awna ilaa al-sujuudi), while they were sound.

The core messages from reviewing 53 instances of da`aa found in 50 verses of 21 surahs in the Quran are: true believers in God’s revelation call their Lord in fear and hope; they call their adopted sons by their fathers; they do not enter prophet’s homes without his permission; they do not call other than God, who do not possess atom weight in the earth or in the heavens, nor a covering of a date seed; the Satan invites his allies to be dwellers of the Blazing fire; those whom are called other than God cannot respond their call and will deny their association on a day of Judgment; if an overloaded soul on a day of the resurrection calls for its load will not be carried anything from it; those whom are called other than God did not create, nor have they been given a scripture with a clear proof; when the adversity had touched the human being, then he called his Lord being turned to Him but when he is saved, he sets up rivals with Him; a day it will be announced that God’s hatred is greater than a hatred between yourselves when you were called to the faith; when it had been called to God alone, you disbelieved but when it were associated with Him, you believed; God judges with the truth, while those whom they call other than Him cannot judge with anything; a believer calls to the Paradise, while the disbelievers call to the Fire; the dwellers of the Hell call to the guardians of Hell to call upon their Lord to lighten from them their punishment, while they said that the messengers did not come to you with clear proofs, then they replied that the call of the disbelievers were not except for straying, while those who were arrogant from worship of God have entered the Hell; the prophet was forbidden to worship those whom his people called other than God; who is better in utterance than whoever invites to God; God has decreed religion for humans and whoever calls Him, He will guide him; who is far astray than whoever calls other than Him; those whom are called other than do not possess any power of intercession; the dwellers of the Paradise are there because they had called God before; a caller will call to a terrible event of those who had turned away from Him; God had taken a covenant from mankind that they will be believers of Him; who is more unjust than whoever has invented lie about God, then He does not guide a people of the wrongdoers; a day a party of people will be called for prostrations but they cannot do, while a party of people are able when they will be called for prostrations.

This review may help us understand that God has ordered us all to call Him alone being sincere in His religion, while He is the Living and there is god except Him, focusing on that those whom are called other Him have no power of intercession and a day a caller will call those who had turned away from Him, and the Satan is our great enemy who only invites his party to be among the dwellers of the Blazing fire.

Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
