God has spelled out in the Quran who are the believers

[8:2] Only the believers (innamaa al-mu’minuuna) are those when has been mentioned God has feared their hearts, and when has been recited to them His revelations has increased them in faith, and upon their Lord they put their trust.

[32:15] Only believe in our revelations (innamaa yu’minu bi-aayaatinaa) are those when they have been reminded with them have fallen down as prostrators, and they have glorified with praise of their Lord, and they do not be arrogant.
Note: The above two verses are very straightforward to understand who are believers among us, even we can strengthen our hearts with a factual evidence derived from the Quran if we add the relevant surah and verse numbers, the sum is a multiple of 19 => 8 + 2 + 32 + 15 = 57 (19x3),

Moreover, God has also spelled out it in many other verses throughout the Quran but here are a few we can reflect to firm our belief and can do the righteous deeds as believers being aware that He has promised the believers to be Protector of them and for them there is forgiveness and a great reward as well as high ranks with Him:

[2:24] And you shall give good news to those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds (alladheena aamanuu wa-`amiluu al-saalihaati) that for them are gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath. Every time they have been provided provision from them of fruit they have said, “This is what we have been provided before.” And they have been given of it in resemblance. And for them there are purified spouses therein, and they will be dwellers therein forever.

[2:97] Say: “Whoever has been enemy to Gabriel, then indeed, he has brought down it (Quran) into your (prophet) heart by permission of God, confirming what was before of it, and is a guidance and a good news for the believers (wa-hudan wa-bush’raa lil’mu’mineena).”

[2:136] Say: “We have believed in God and what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and what has been given to Moses and Jesus, and what has been given to the prophets from their Lord; we do not make distinction between any of them, and to Him we are submitters.”

[2:185] Ramadan which is a month has been sent down in it the Quran as guidance for mankind and clear proofs of the guidance and the statute book. So, whoever has witnessed the month from you, then he shall fast in it (fal’yassum’hu) and whoever has been sick or on a journey, then a specified number from other days. God does intend the ease for you and He does not intend the hardship for you, and that you may complete the specified number; and that you may glorify God through which (Quran) He has guided you (`alaa maa hadaakum), and that you may appreciate.

[2:213] Mankind had been a single community as God has raised up (from them) the prophets as bearers of good news and warners and has sent down with them the scripture with the truth to judge between the people in what they had differed in it. And none had differed in it except those who had been given it after what had come to them the clear proofs out of jealousy between themselves. Then God has guided those who have believed (alladheena aamanuu) that which they had differed in it of the truth with His permission. And God guides whoever He wills to a straight path.

[2:254] O you who have believed (yaa’ayyuhaa alladheena aamanuu), you shall spend from what we have provided you before that a day comes there is no trade, nor nepotism, nor intercession. And the deniers – they are the wrongdoers.

[2:278] O you who have believed, you shall fear God and shall give up what has remained from the usury, if you have been believers (in kuntum mu’mineena).

[2:285] The messenger has believed in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so has done) the believers (wal-muiminuuna). All has believed in God, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers (and said): “We do not make distinction between any of His messengers.” And they said, “We have heard, and we have obeyed. Have for us Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You is the final return.

[3:16] Those who say, “Our Lord, indeed, we have believed (rabbanaa innanaa aamannaa), so forgive us our sins, and save us from a punishment of the Fire.”

[3:28] The believers (al-mu’minuuna) will not take the disbelievers as allies other than the believers (al-mu’mineena). And whoever does that, then he has not been in anything from God except that a precaution from them. And God Himself warns you, and to God is the final return.

[3:68] Indeed, the people with Abraham were best who had followed him, and this prophet and those who have believed (wa-alladheena aamanuu). And God is a Protector of the believers (al-mu’mineena).

[3:81] And when God had taken a covenant of the prophets that whatever I have given you (prophets) from a scripture and wisdom, then there has come to you a messenger confirming that which is with yourselves. That you must believe in him and that you must support him (latu’minunna bihi wa-latansurunnahu). He said: “Have you affirmed and taken My covenant on that?” They said: “We have affirmed.” He said: “So, you shall bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.”

Note: Here is a reference of a promise of God that He will send a messenger after delivering all the scripture, which means that this commandment has been placed in all the scripture that the people of all generations are made aware of it and when the messenger had come the believers can accept him based on a sign and message given to him.

[3:84] Say: “We have believed in God and what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and what has been given to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We do not make distinction between any of them (laa-nufarriqu bayna ahadin min’hum), and to Him we are submitters.”

[3:164] That certainly, God has favored upon the believers (al-mu’mineena) as He has raised messenger in them from themselves to recite His revelations to them, and to purify them, and to teach them the scripture and the wisdom, even though they had been before surely in a clear straying.

[3:191] Those who remember God (alladheena yadh’kuruuna allaha) in standing, and sitting, and on their sides, while they reflect in creation of the heavens and the earth: “Our Lord, You have not created this in vain. Glory is Yours; so, save us from a punishment of the Fire.“

[3:193] “Our Lord, indeed, we have heard a caller is calling to the faith that: you shall believe in your Lord; so, we have believed (fa-aamannaa). Our Lord, so, forgive for us our sins, and remove from us our evil deeds, and cause us to die with the righteous.”

[4:103] Then when you have completed the salat prayer, then you shall remember God at standing, and sitting, and on your sides. Then when you have been secure, then you shall establish the salat prayer. Indeed, the salat prayer has been a decree upon the believers (`alaa al-mu’mineena) at specified times.

[4:144] O you who have believed (yaa’ayyuhaa aamanuu), do not take the disbelievers as allies other than the believers (min duuni al-mu’mineena). Do you wish that you make a clear evidence against you for God?

[4:145] The hypocrites will be in the lowest depth of the Fire, and you will not find for them any helper.

[4:146] Except those who have repented, and have reformed, and have held fast to God, and have been sincere in their religion for God, then those are with the believers (ma`a al-mu’mineena), and God will give the believers a great reward (al-mu’mineena aj’ran `azeeman)

[4:152] And those who have believed in God and His messengers, and they do not make distinction between any of them, those – we will give them their rewards. And God is Forgiving, Merciful.

[4:162] But those who are well founded in the knowledge from them (Jews) and the believers (wal-mu’minuuna) believe in what has been sent down to you (prophet), and what has been sent down from before of you (prophet), and the observers of the salat prayer, and the givers of the zakat, and the believers (wal-mu’minuuna) in God and the Last Day – those, we will give them a great reward.

[5:9] God has promised those who have believed (wa`ada allahu alladheena aamanuu) and have done the righteous deeds, is forgiveness and a great reward for them.

[5:11] O you who have believed (yaa’ayyuhaa aamanuu), you shall remember a favor of God upon you; when there has determined a people that they will extend their hands towards you, then He has restrained their hands from you. And you shall fear God, and upon God shall put trust the believers (al-mu’minuuna).

[5:54] O you who have believed (yaa’ayyuhaa aamanuu), whoever turns back among you from his religion, then God will bring of a people those whom He loves and they love Him (yuhibbuhum wa-yuhibbuunahu), are humble on the believers (adhillatin `alaa al-mu’mineena), are stern on the disbelievers, striving in a path of God, and not fearing any blame of a critic. That is God’s grace; He grants whomever He wills. And God is Encompassing, Knower.

[5:57] O you who have believed (yaa’ayyuhaa aamanuu), do not take as allies those who have been taken your religion as mockery and fun from those who have been given the scripture from before of you and the disbelievers. And you shall fear God, if you have been believers (mu’mineena).

[5:87] O you who have believed (yaa’ayyuhaa aamanuu), do not make unlawful good things what God has made lawful for you, nor do you transgress. Indeed, God does not love the transgressors.

[5:88] And you shall eat lawful good things from that God has provided for you. And you shall fear God Whom you have been believers (mu’minuuna) in Him.

[7:75] The leaders of those who had been arrogant among his people said to those who had been oppressed of whoever had believed (liman aamana) among them, “Do you know that Sãleh is a sent one from his Lord?” They said, “Indeed, we are believers (mu’minuuna) in what has been sent with it.”

[8:3] Those who establish the salat prayer, and from what we have provided them they spend.

[8:4] Those – they are the true believers (ulaaika humu al-mu’minuuna haqqan). For them there are ranks with their Lord and forgiveness and a generous provision.

[9:51] Say, “No adversity befalls us except what God has decreed for us, He is our Protector. And upon God that shall put trust the believers (wa-`alaa fal-yatawakkali al-mu’minuuna).”

[9:71] And the believing men and the believing women (wal-mu’minuuna wal-mu’minaatu), of them are allies to one another. They enjoin good and forbid from the evil, and they establish the salat prayer and give the zakah, and they obey God and His messenger. Those, God will grant mercy on them; indeed, God is Almighty, Wise.

[9:111] Indeed, God has purchased from the believers of their lives and their wealth (allaha ish’taraa mina al-mu’mineena anfusahum wa-amwaalahum) with that for them is the Paradise. They fight in a path of God so that they can kill and can be killed. A true promise upon Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. And who is more truthful to his promise than God? So, you shall rejoice with your transaction you have contracted with it. That it is the greatest success.

[9:112] [The believers are:]The repenters, the worshipers, the praisers, the fasters, the bowers, the prostrators, the advocators of the right and the forbidders from the wrong, and the keepers of God’s limits. And give good news to the believers (wa-bashari al-mu’mineena).

[14:11] Their messengers said to them, “We are not except a human like yourselves, but God favors on whomever He wills from His servants. And it has not been for us that we can bring you of a sign except by permission of God. And upon God that shall put trust the believers (wa-`alaa fal-yatawakkali al-mu’minuuna).”

[16:101] And when we have substituted one revelation in place of another revelation and God is Knower of what He sends down, they said, “You (Muhammad) are only an fabricator.” Nay, most of them do not know

[20:75] And whoever comes to Him as a believer (wa-man yatihi mu’minan), certainly, he has done the righteous deeds, then those for them there will be the high ranks.

[22:54] And that it may know those who have been given the knowledge that it (Quran) is the truth from your Lord; so, they believe in it (fa-yu’minuu bihi), then it may humble their hearts to it . And indeed, God is surely a Guide of those who have believed to a straight path (allahu la’haadi alladheena aamanuu ilaa siraatin mus’taqeemin).

[23:1] Certainly, there has succeeded the believers (al-mu’minuuna);

[23:2] Those who (the believers) are humble in their salat prayer.

[23:3] And those who (the believers) are averse from the vain talk.

[23:4] And those who (the believers) are doers of the zakah.

[23:5] And those who (the believers) are protectors of their chastity.

Note: The above five verses are very straightforward to understand the believers who are successful among them, even getting a factual evidence derived from the Quran if we add the relevant surah and verse numbers, the sum is a multiple of 19 => 23 + 1+ + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 38 (19x2).

[29:44] God has created the heavens and the earth with the truth. Indeed, in that there is surely a sign for the believers (la’aayatan lil’mu’mineena).

[30:47] And certainly, we have sent messengers from before of you (prophet) to their people; so, they had come to them with the clear proofs, then we had taken retribution of those who had committed crimes. And it has been obligation upon us for victory of the believers (nasru al-mu’mineena).

[39:23] God has sent down a scripture of the best Hadith being consistent to each other (mutashaabihan mathaaniya). The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (Quran), then their skins and their hearts soften up to God’s message. That is God’s guidance; He guides with it (Quran) whomever He wills, and whomever God lets go astray, then there is no guide for him.

[44:56] They (the righteous believers) do not taste the death in it (earth) except the first death (that happened in Heaven before our descent on earth), and He has prevented them from a punishment of the Hellfire (in the Hereafter).

[48:4] He is the One who has sent down the peace into hearts of the believers (huwa alladhee anzala al-sakeenata fee quluubi al-mu’mineen) that they may increase faith with their faith. And to God belongs soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and God is Knower, Wise.

[48:5] That He may admit the believing men and believing women into Gardens (li’yud’khila al-mu’mineena wal-mu’minaati jannaatin), flowing the rivers of their underneath, as dwellers therein forever, and He will remove their misdeeds from them; and it has been that with God a great success.

[49:10] Only the believers are brothers (innamaa al-mu’minuuna ikh’watun), that you shall make peace between your brothers and shall fear God that you are given mercy.

[49:15] Only the believers (innamaa al-mu’minuuna) are those who have believed in God and His messenger, then they do not doubt, while they have striven with their wealth and their lives in a path of God. Those – they are the truthful ones.

[57:12] A day you see the believing men and the believing women (al-mu’mineena wal-mu’minaati) will radiate their light at their ahead and on their right (yas’`aa nuurukum bayna aydeehim wa-bi-aymaanihim). Good news for yourselves is the day – gardens flowing the rivers of their underneath, as dwellers therein forever. That it is the great success.

[64:13] God: there is no god except He. And upon God that the believers shall put trust (wa-`alaa allahi fal-yatawakkali al-mu’minuuna).

[66:6] O you who have believed (yaa’ayyuhaa alladheena aamanuu), protect yourselves and your families from the Hellfire of its fuel is the people and the rocks; around it are the stern and powerful angels; they never disobey God in what He has commanded them and they do whatever they are commanded.

[79:2] And the angels who draw out gently (nash’tan) (the souls of the righteous believers).

The believers believe in what has been sent down to them and also what had been sent down before of them, and they do not make distinction between any of prophets and messengers knowing difference between prophet and messenger, while the scripture is only the source to resolve any disputes among the people. They follow what has been sent down to them to do the righteous deeds that for them there are high ranks with God and it is His system from the past.

Thus, if we can put our trust upon God and His promise and worship Him to guide us to a straight path confirming that there is no god except God, we make efforts to save us and our families from the Hellfire following His system being God is our Protector avoiding the so called mufti and scholars who are very active around to mislead us from a path of God being allies of the Satan.
Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
