God had destroyed an evil plan of a people of the elephant
- Have you not seen how your Lord had dealt with a people of the elephant (105:1)? Did He not make their plot going astray (105:2)?
He had punished them with a swarm of birds
- He had sent upon them swarms of birds (105:3). To strike them with stones of a baked clay (105:4). Then He had made them like a chewed up hay (105:5).
Surah al-Feel (The Elephant) is a short surah consisting of 5 verses, which describes a historical event of punishing a people of the elephant with a swarm of birds, who attacked the Ka’bah to destroy it. This surah may serve as an example for us that God did not detail what had come down from the past.
