Indeed, in that there is surely a sign for you, if you have been believers.”

[4:163] Indeed, we have inspired to you (Muhammad), as we had inspired to Noah and the prophets after of him. And we had inspired to Abraham, and Ismail, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and Jesus, and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron, and Solomon. And we had given David Psalms.

[6:84] And we had granted to him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob – each we had guided. And Noah we had guided before of (them), and of his descendants: David, and Solomon, and Job, and Joseph, and Moses, and Aaron. And thus that we reward the gooddoers.

[7:122] “Lord of Moses and Aaron.”

[7:142] And we had made an appointment of Moses for thirty-night, and we had completed it including ten. Thus, he had completed a set term of his Lord for forty-night, and Moses said to his brother Aaron, “You shall succeed in my people and shall reform, and do not follow a way of the corruptors.”

[20:92] He (Moses) said, “O Aaron, what has prevented you, when you have seen them they have gone astray.

[21:48] And we had given Moses and Aaron the statute book, a light, and a reminder for the righteous.

[23:45] Then we had sent Moses and his brother, Aaron with our signs and a clear authority.

[25:35] And certainly, we had given Moses the scripture and had made his brother Aaron an assistant with him.

[26:13] My breast straitens and my tongue cannot express well; so send for Aaron.

[26:48] “Lord of Moses and Aaron.”

[28:34] “And my brother Aaron is more eloquence than I in speech. So send him with me as a helper to confirm me. Indeed me, I fear that they will deny me.”

[37:114] And certainly, we had bestowed favor upon Moses and Aaron.

[37:120] Peace upon Moses and Aaron.

  • 12. David has been mentioned 16 times by name in the Quran found in 16 verses across 9 God had given him the kingdom and the wisdom to David who killed Jalut and had been given him the Psalms, while He had committed the mountains to glorify Him with David, and had granted him Solomon:

[2:251] So, they had defeated them by permission of God, and David had defeated and killed Jalut. God had given him the kingdom and the wisdom and had taught him that what He willed. And if it were not repelling by God the people of them over other, surely, the earth would have corrupted, but God is Possessor of bounty upon a people of the world.

[4:163] Indeed, we have inspired to you, as we had inspired to Noah and the prophets after of him.

[17:55] And your Lord is Knower of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And we have preferred some of the prophets over other, and we had given Psalms to David.

[21:78] And David and Solomon, when they judged about the field when a sheep of a people had pastured in it, and we had been witnesses to their judgment.

[21:79] So we had given Solomon to understand it, and to each we had given wisdom and knowledge. And we had committed the mountains and the birds to glorify our praises with David. And we had been doers.

[27:15] Certainly, we had blessed David and Solomon with knowledge, and they said, “All praise to God Who has favored us more than many of His servants of the believers.

[27:16]. And Solomon had inherited David, and he said, “O people, we have been taught language of the birds and we have been given from everything. Indeed, this surely, it is the evident for the favor.”

[34:10] And certainly, we had given David bounty from us: “O mountains, you shall praise with him and the birds.” And we had made the iron flexible for him.

[34:13] They worked for him what he willed – temples, and statues, and deep pools, and heavy cooking pots. “You shall do (righteous deeds) O family of David in appreciation.” And a few of My servants are grateful.

[38:17] Be patient to what they say, and recall our servant David, he was turning in repentance.

[38:22] When they had appeared before David, then he was afraid of them. They said, “Do not fear. We are two litigants; one of us has wronged to another; so, judge between ourselves with the truth, and do not be unjust and guide us to the path of even.”

[38:24] He said, “He has wronged you by demanding your ewe to his ewes. And indeed, many of the partners surely oppress of them over other except those who have believed and have done the righteous deeds, and they are a few.” And David had become certain that we tested him, so he had asked forgiveness of his Lord and had knelt down in bowing and had turned in repentance.

[38:26] O David, indeed, we have made you a ruler in the earth. So, you shall judge between the people with the truth, and do not follow the (your) desire, then it will divert you from a path of God. Indeed, those who go astray from a path of God, for them there is a severe punishment for that they have forgot a day of the Reckoning.

[38:30] And to David we had granted Solomon, an excellent servant; indeed, he was turning in repentance.

  • 13. Solomon has been mentioned 17 times by name in the Quran found in 16 verses across 7 God had given him the kingship as well as taught him to understand language of other creatures, The jinns used to work for him, and the winds and the birds were given under his disposal. Sheba had submitted to God with him without a war:

[2:102] And they had followed what the devils recited over a kingdom of Solomon, while Solomon had not disbelieved, but the devils had disbelieved. They taught the people the magic, and what had been sent down in Babylon through the two angels, Harut and Marut. They did not teach anyone except they say, “we are only a test, so do not disbelieve.” So, they learned from these two that they cause separation between the man and his spouse with it. But they could not be of harmful ones to anyone with it except by permission of God. And they learned what harms them and does not profit them. And certainly, they had known that whoever has bought it, there is no share for him in the Hereafter. And that it has been evil for themselves what they have sold with it, if they had done to know.

[21:81] And to Solomon, the gusting wind blown by his command to the land which we had blessed in it, and we are knowers of everything.

[27:18] Until when they had reached a valley of ants, one female ant said, “O ants, go into your homes, lest Solomon and his soldiers do not crush you, while they do not perceive.”

[27:30] Indeed, it (a letter) is from Solomon, and indeed, it is – In the Name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

[27:36] Then when he had come to Solomon, he responded: “Do you provide me with wealth? While what God has given me is far better than what He has given you. Nay, you may rejoice with your gift.”

[27:44] It had been said to her: “Enter the palace.” So when she had seen it she thought it a pool and she uncovered from her shins. He said: “Indeed, it is a palace made smooth of glasses.” She said: “My Lord, indeed me, I have wronged to myself and I have submitted to God, Lord of the worlds with Solomon.”

[34:12] And for Solomon the wind – its morning course was a month and its afternoon course was a month. And we had caused to flow a spring of the molten copper for him. And of the jinn who worked in presence of him by permission of his Lord. And whoever from them deviated of our commands, we make him taste of a punishment of the Blazing fire.

[38:30] And to David we had granted Solomon, an excellent servant; indeed, he was turning in repentance.

[38:34] And certainly, we had tested Solomon and had placed a body on his throne, then he had turned in repentance.
