A reminder in the reminder and its math confirmation

Introduction

There are 99 instances from the root word “dhik’r” in 2 distinct morphological and grammatical forms: (1) “dhik’ra” (ذِكرَ) including its derived forms in the masculine noun form and (2) “dhik’raa” (ذِكْرَىٰ) including its derived forms in the feminine noun form. Literary, these instances typically mean the reminder but remembrance in some context in the Quran. There are 76 instances in the first group in the masculine noun form that refer to the Quran or the scripture to be the reminder while there are 23 instances in the second group in the feminine noun form that refer to a particular piece of information to be the reminder for us in the Quran, i. e., the reminder in the reminder.

  • There are many instances of dhik’ra in the masculine noun form that refer to the Quran or the scripture to be a reminder or warning or message but here are a few to cite as examples:

Note: The Quran was sent down to you (Muhammad), which is referred to the reminder here.

[21:2] When a reminder (dhik’rin) comes to them from their Lord, that is new, they listen to it heedlessly.
Note: It indicates new scripture as all prophets are given scripture with an updated message.
[21:24] Have they found other gods beside Him? Say, “Show me your proof. Say: “Bring your proof. This is a reminder (dhik’ru) of those with me and a reminder (dhik’ru) of those before me.” But, most of them do not know the truth, so they turn away.

[36:69] What we taught him (the messenger) was not poetry, nor is he (a poet). This is but a reminder (dhik’run) and an enlightening Quran (wa-qur’aanun mubeenun).
Note: A reminder and an enlightening Quran is a matching pair indicating Quran

[38:1] Saad, and the Quran having the warning (al-dhik’ri).

[38:8] “Has the warning (al-dhik’ru) been revealed to him from among us?” Nay, they are doubtful of My warning (dhik’ri-i). Nay, they do not yet taste My punishment.

  • There are 23 instances of dhik’raa in the feminine noun form that refer to a particular piece of information to be a reminder in the Quran are mentioned below while we know masculinity is the default grammatical gender and a word does not have to have anything special in order to reflect this and femininity, on the other hand, is not default and a noun would have to have something special to reflect this gender:

[6:68] If you see those who mock our revelations, you shall avoid them until they move on to another topic. If the devil causes you to forget, then do not sit with the wicked people after being aware of the reminder (al-dhik’raa).

Note: This verse confirms 18 prophets mentioned by names in the earlier verses from 83 to 86 who were truly guided by God, and Muhammad has been advised to make efforts to achieve guidance at their level, and what has been given to him, in it there is a reminder for the people of the world, which refers to the mathematical coding of the Quran.

[7:2] A scripture has been revealed to you (Muhammad) that there would be no discomfort in your chest from it, that you may warn with it, and there is a reminder (dhik’raa) (in it) for the believers.
Note: A scripture revealed to him would not cause any discomfort in his heart and he will warn with it wherein there is reminder for the believers.

[11:114] You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) at both ends of the day, and a first part of the night. The good deeds remove the evil deeds. That is a reminder (dhik’raa) for those who would take heed.

Note: In the book that is being recited to them there is a mercy and a reminder for the believers, is an indication that what has been sent down is also a miracle for him.

[38:43] And we had granted his family for him (Job), and a group of them with them, was mercy from us, and is a reminder (dhik’raa) for those who possess intelligence.
Note: God responded when Job had implored Him to relieve his adversity, was a mercy from Him, which should serve as a reminder for those who possess intelligence.

[38:46] Indeed, we have chosen them (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) with an exclusive reminder (dhik’raa) of the abode (in the Hereafter).

[39:21] Do you not see that God sends down water from the sky, then He has made it to flow as springs in the earth, then He produces with it plants of various colors, then they wither, then you see it turning yellow, then He makes it debris? [44:13] How was the reminder (al-dhik’raa) for them, and certainly, had come to them a clarifying messenger (with it)?
Note: This instance confirms that a messenger had come to them with a reminder (Quran’s mathematical coding) before a painful punishment from a profound smoke in the sky covering the people but most of them were heedless to the messenger and the reminder delivered by him. It is also noteworthy that this verse is also misinterpreted by most translators for translating the instance of “al-dhik’raa” “to remember” instead of “the reminder” that makes no sense.

[47:18] Are they waiting until the Hour comes to them suddenly? All the signs thereof have already come. Once the Hour comes to them, how will they benefit from their remembrance (dhik’raahum)?
Note: It is about the awareness of the Hour but there is no reminder from God except their remembrance.

Note: Many a generation who were powerful did not find the escape on the land when annihilated is a reminder for everyone who has common sense.

[51:55] And you shall remind that indeed, the reminder (al-dhik’raa) will benefit the believers.

[74:31] And we have not made guardians of the Fire except angels, and we have not made their number except a warning for those who disbelieved, that may ascertain those who have been given the scripture (Jews and Christians) and may increase faith of those who have believed (Muslims), and may not doubt those who have been given the scripture (Jews and Christians) and the believers (Muslims). And that may say those in their hearts there is a disease (hypocrites) and the disbelievers, “What did God mean by this allegory?” Thus, God misguides whomever He wills and He guides whomever He wills. And none knows your Lord’s soldiers except He. And it (hiya) is not except a reminder (dhik’raa) for the human race.
Note: This verse refers to the number mentioned in the verse 30 – ‘over it is nineteen’ as we see a match between “over it (`alayhaa) is nineteen (tis’`ata `ashara” and “it (hiya) is a reminder (dhik’raa) for the human race” being “it” a feminine gender in both verses while the scripture (Quran) is consistently referred as the masculine gender, i.e., what is divisible by 19, means that 19 is the reminder as well as the common denominator of Quran’s analytical figures despite 19 itself as a number belongs to the masculine gender.

[79:43] In what you (Muhammad) are of its reminder (dhik’raahaa).

[89:23] On that day, Hell will be presented. On that day, the human being will remember but how can be the remembrance (al-dhik’raa) for him?
Note: On that day the human being can remember that he was heedless to the reminder about the Day.

Mathematical Confirmation

There are 21 instances of dhik’raa in 21 verses across 16 suras in the Quran that serve as reminders for us in the Quran. The sum of the relevant sura number and the verse number is a multiple of 19 => 1843 = 19 x 97 as shown in the table below:

img60

Note: The two instances, dhik’raahum found in 47:18 and dhik’raahaa found in 79:43 are not included in the mathematical confirmation as they do not convey any reminder except the general awareness of the Hour.

  • Review of the verses mentioned under both groups clearly indicates that the word “dhik’raa” is distinct from the word “dhik’r” even the root is the same. Hence, the word “dhik’raa” has been made distinct from the Quran or the scripture pointing to certain special reminders including a hint of mathematical coding of the Quran as found in (44:13 and 74:31) while the messenger associated with this reminder is found in 44:13, which is another reminder. The connection between these two reminders in the Quran is so clear that there is no room to miss it due to misunderstanding or lack of clarification, even supported by the mathematical confirmation being a factual conclusion.

Conclusion

The word “dhik’raa” is made distinct from the Quran or the scripture and clearly points to certain special reminders including a hint of the Quran’s mathematical code in the Quran. In addition, the mathematical confirmation is the physical evidence of the advent of a God’s messenger with a reminder, i.e., the Quran’s mathematical code that should not be taken lightly as indicated in (44:13). Thus, God designed and perfected the Quran in the Arabic language and sent it to the world with an incontrovertible proof of divinity to serve as guidance until the end of the world. Thus, the code of the Quran has not only protected the revealed Quran from any distortion but also provides us with a means to dissect it to better understand the overall message including the significant events and commandments isolating the sets of verses found across the suras. The code is already proven to be an effective tool to purify our beliefs and practices eliminating any misconceptions from our religion as well as any corruptions from our practices occurred over the period of time. The effectiveness of this code is a direct evidence that like all other things God is, in full control of His wondrous creation, the greatest Quran giving us an opportunity to strive in His cause as well as making efforts to take His religion to the next level. However, we must disregard any opinion or interpretation of any human whoever he may be if it does not fit to His teachings in light of logic and proofs as our only concern is God and His teachings and laws.
Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
