God has spelled out a path which is straight to Him. He has made Islam a path is straight to Him, and when we ask God to guide us to the path, the straight in our direct contact with Him at scheduled times, we seek His guidance to expand our hearts to Islam, while the scripture being a light guides humanity to a path is straight. Thus, the Quran is a path is straight to Him, which guides the believers to a path is straight and the prophet had been on a path is straight as long as he had held fast to the Quran revealed to him. Thus, to hold fast to God is a path is straight for us and the review of instances of siraat is also an opportunity to reflect that the scripture and the religion are two handholds to hold fast to God that never breaks.

In fact, the present global picture of Islam is in jeopardy for a people who claim themselves Muslims but are focusing on Muhammad as a person making it a personality cult, while to be the true Muslims they should be sought a path is straight to God as spelled out by Him diverting their focus from Muhammad to what has been revealed through him to prevent them from worshiping of God associating partner with Him as well as avoiding show offs and invented festivities that their praises and prayers are dedicated to Him to be responded by Him to see their success in the Hereafter.
Peaceful Friday, salaam and God bless.
